Richard Brendon
Launched in Notting Hill in 2013, Richard Brendon founded his eponymous company to celebrate and preserve skilled craftsmanship found in heritage industries around England and beyond. Now grown to include bone china dinnerware and handcrafted crystal pieces, the company started after a conversation with an antique dealer on Portobello Road convinced Richard that the exceptional designs of the past could be carried forward with a more modern sensibility. His founding collection consisted of a mirrored cup to reflect the pattern of whichever saucer it was placed on, thus creating an immediate pairing. Richard Brendon's pieces can be found at the Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland, the Peninsula in London, and a partnership with the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
