Once your points balance reaches the required level, you will advance to a higher tier right away and get bonus points for all your purchases from then on.  You will stay in the new higher tier until the annual adjustment date, which is May 1 of every year beginning May 1, 2017.  Then, based on your activity in the past calendar, your program tier level will be adjusted up or down.  See our Rewards Program page for details on the different tiers and bonus points.
