I first started Gracious Style 11 years ago in a spare bedroom. It was very small — just 11 collections of table linens. Here’s how we looked 10 years ago:

We’ve really come a long way. Gracious Style has grown as a company, with clients all over the world. We’ve also learned a lot about design, thanks to the opportunities to work with some of the top designers during the last 10 years. Most importantly, though, we’ve learned about design from you — our clients. Your questions have helped us think about design in new ways, and you have helped make Gracious Style what it is today.
Now we are taking this a step further. We’ve set up this blog as a place to have a dialogue with you about designing your home. Regularly, we’ll be posting about everything from how to choose fine linens and dinnerware to design ideas and trends, maybe even an occasional recipe or travel tip.
Most importantly, though, we want to hear from you. Ask us when you have questions. How should I choose a down comforter? What should I use for my wedding/anniversary/special event? What would be a good gift for a wedding, an anniversary, Mother’s Day, the holidays, or a new baby? We’ll re-post your question as part of this ongoing dialogue, and then together we’ll all help you think through them. You’ll see how fun gracious design can be when we do it together.
