Purple, a talented New York-based artist and illustrator, joins this big family with the first female The Guest. Her style is characterized by an imagery that places women the center and a pop aesthetic. In this creation, full of color and strength, Purple speaks of empowerment and awareness. A piece that aspires to be a form of activism, challenging stereotypes and harnessing the power of design to give women a voice. A tribute to femininity in the form of a limited edition of 300 pieces.
The artist has used a chromatic palette of saturated tones that convey energy and optimism. The design features spontaneous and expressive strokes, full of rhythm. At the center of the piece, the profiles of two faces appear, facing each other, about to kiss, symbolizing love and sisterhood. The butterfly, another recurring symbol, appears several times on the glasses, lips, and the back of the head. An inspiring homage to the strength of women, showing them as brave, determined, and full of joy.
An iconic Spanish brand, Lladro is a world leader in the creation of porcelain art. Started by brothers Juan, Jose and Vicente Lladro in 1953, the ceramic figurines were initially inspired by the works of great European manufacturers like Meissen and Sevres. Over time, a unique style was forged, consisting of elongated lines, a revolutionary single-firing method, and soft pastel tones.
