Designed by the creative genius of Giovanni Gariboldi, first an apprentice of Gio Ponti and later Creative Director of the Manifattura, the complete set features a versatile design crafted for the contemporary era with functionality and minimal use of space in mind. In fine porcelain with blue decoration, it consists of six cups with saucers, a milk pitcher, a teapot with a lid and a sugar bowl both with a lid that can be used as a butter dish or for serving sweets and micro desserts. The Colonna collection, an icon of Design in the 1950s, makes its comeback in an exclusive limited Re-Edition in the original colors and dimensions that distinguish the complete coffee, tea and tableware sets. Created in 1954, it was granted the Compasso d'Oro, the world's oldest and most prestigious design award, owing to its reinterpretation of the craft of porcelain in a modern style.
