It is a fine purple porcelain sculpture depicting a face adorned with a contrasting green cylindrical hat, carefully guarding his thoughts. A symbol of wisdom, Il Letterato (The Scholar) is a contemplator of the design of life, a keen observer and skillful storyteller of human entanglements. It can be paired with the kit of scented candles in the fragrance Purple Hill, which releases floral notes (candles are not included in the package). Light and fresh, it evokes the olfactory memory of the Tuscan hills in full spring bloom. A sensation that is striking, persistent and persuasive. It is the scent of harmony and balance, what the world burns for.
La Compagnia di Caterina is a home fragrances collection that pays homage to Caterina De' Medici and her court. It stems from the artistic talent of Designer Luca Nichetto, who brings back the figurative art of the Manifattura in a contemporary reinterpretation.
