The item itself is great, my wife loved it.

I ordered a bunch of these serrated pairing knives (8) for basically everyone in my family for gifts for the holidays. Personally I love them for cutting croissants for sandwiches and other small things because they are so fast to hand wash. I haven’t had to sharpen mine yet but I’m confident it will take an edge relatively easily when it’s time. Oh, and the handle is amazing. The shape and weight are fantastic, the material feels very nice in your hand. I could see it getting slick but not overly compared to wood or smooth POM. I have large hands and the handle is a little short for me but it is still very comfortable because of the beveled back and just the shape in general. If you have smaller hands I bet it would handle even better.

I ordered a whole lot of some quite specific serrated pairing knives (8) for basically everyone in my family for gifts for the holidays. They arrived a little late but I understand the issues around staffing and shipping during that time, not to mention USPS is just overloaded anyways. All of them arrived with perfect packaging and very generous cushioning. Definitely checking selections for other stuff on this site again.
