Calaisio

Handcrafted in remote villages in the South Pacific, every Calaisio product is woven using "vignes d'eau," water vines which only grow in remote jungles that are very difficult to reach and challenging to harvest. However, once reaped, the vines grow back quickly, leaving no damage in their native forests. At a mere 3 mm thick (or one fourth as thick as typical rattan), these water vines take up to a week to weave into a finished product but yield a substantially more durable, heat-resistant, and elegant product.
