Green Sweet Table Linens
Love to set a beautiful table, but worried about stains? Swiss scientists have come up with a new way to treat fabrics called "Green Sweet" for just that problem. The scientists studied how leafs naturally repel water. Even though a leaf might look smooth to us, it actually has many tiny rough surfaces that prevent water from breaking down into smaller and getting through the surface. Green Sweet works the same way -- when fabric is finished, it is coated with nanoparticles that create a slightly hilly surface. Just enough to prevent liquids and soils from penetrating the fabric, so you could wipe them away easily. With Green Sweet, soft, plush cotton tablecloths and placemats could repel liquids and resist stains. So there's no more need to get acrylic tablecloths or worry about a stain ruining your party.
