As Seen in House Beautiful: Vero Linen Kitchen Towels

/ PressView All

We just received our July/August 2010 issue of House Beautiful (congratulations to new editor Newell Turner!), and we were thrilled to see our Libeco Home Vero Kitchen Towels featured in “The Best for the Kitchen” section.

House Beautiful Magazine July/August 2010

In case you haven’t seen them yet, the Vero kitchen towels are stylish, yet simple, with alternating stripes in flax, black, and white, apricot and blue.  We love them in kitchens with black stone countertops, but they would also look great in white kitchens.

So what makes these towels special?  First, they are made using 100% Belgian linen, widely considered to be among the softest and finest in the world.  Linen is perfect for use in the kitchen.  It is very absorbent (it can absorb up to 20% of its own weight in water before it feels wet) and it is lint free, which makes linen towels perfect for drying dishes and clear stemware. Wipe once, and you’re done.  And to clean them, just machine wash and dry.

Of course, we love Libeco’s designs.  They are clean and sophisticated, and perfect for the simpler way we live today.  Kitchen towels are items we reach for often, so it’s nice for them to be easy on the eye.  In addition to the Vero, there’s the Lumio

and the Parma:

Oh, and do you know what else we love about them?  That you can also used them as oversized napkins, as we did with the Cornelia below.  Don’t laugh; they are perfect for all those extra guests who keep showing up at your door.

The Vero kitchen towels are available in packs of six for $138; we bet you’ll be reaching for them every day.  Want to see more?  Come see our entire collection of kitchen towels here.
