After dining at Per Se or The French Laundry, many people have called to ask about the refined white dinnerware chef Thomas Keller uses at these restaurants. There are two patterns available: Hommage and Checks. Both are made in France by Raynaud using Limoges porcelain, so they can easily be mixed and matched.
Hommage is plain white, and it looks like this …
… while Checks has a subtle check pattern …
Since both collections are available in a really large number of shapes, they are ideal for people who love to entertain.
The Hommage collection is more extensive (for example, plate covers, cups, and spoons are only available in Hommage) and more affordable. Prices start at $15 and most pieces are usually in stock.
Checks brings a little pattern to the table, so it’s great for adding interest. Checks pieces are pricier (starting at $40) and usually not in stock, but they can be easily ordered for delivery within 4-6 weeks.

Bon appetit!
