French interior design master Alberto Pinto has long been known for creating stylish, custom interiors for exclusive clients. He takes a personal approach to each project and has a keen eye for effortlessly combining pieces from different periods to create stylish, individual interiors that have been called the “haute couture of interior decorating.”
His broad range of projects includes everything from yachts and private jets to hotels, houses and restaurants. His creative touch has enhanced products including tableware, flatware, fabrics, fixtures, leather and furniture. Alberto Pinto is also known for creating the perfect setting for entertaining for large, extravagant events as well as intimate, informal ones.
Previously, his creations were strictly reserved for the agency’s interior design projects. But as Maison Alberto Pinto celebrated its fortieth anniversary in 2010, the creator decided to share his world with a broader audience.
Initially, he partnered with Raynaud to produce Cristobal, an instant classic with graceful coral shapes in cheerful colors. Typical of Pinto’s designs, it offers infinite possibilities of mixing and matching, for a unique table setting that reflects your own personal style.
And recently, he introduced a line of exquisitely hand-painted dinnerware.
The Renouveau Russe collection pops with bold shapes and bright colors. Truly unique, it evokes the modern artworks of Kandinsky and other Russian masters.
Inspired by nature as well as art, the Belle Saisons and Camellia collections feature colorful flowers in both classic and modern styles. Pinto’s range of designs is wonderfully broad, so there’s sure to be something to suit any taste.
Or des Airs and Or des Mers feature ocean and bird themes. The seaweed and leaf designs coordinate seamlessly between the collections for infinite possibilities of mixing and matching.
Chinoiserie is currently a popular design theme, and the collection by the same name by Alberto Pinto doesn’t disappoint. Vivid pink and delicate gold borders frame charming tableaus of village life, men and women in ornate costume. Vieux Kyoto continues the Orientalism theme with black, white and gold scenes of the elegant city of Kyoto and surrounding mountains.
To coordinate with the dinnerware collections, Alberto Pinto designed several lines of sterling and silverplate flatware for the venerable house of Ercuis.
Paris is an elegant pattern that coordinates well with the Vannerie Gold and Platinum dinnerware, which features pure white porcelain edged with gold and platinum in a basketweave pattern. Simple, elegant and comforting – essentially Alberto Pinto style.
